A series of high visual impact videos for the groundbreaking new Alpha series.
CLIENT: Alpha is a global phenomenon that has spread around the world to more than twenty nine million people over the past forty years. Alpha is a series of sessions exploring the Christian faith in small groups, focusing on questions, community, and guided discussion.
CHALLENGE: Alpha was setting out on an ambitious mission to produce entirely new video courses for both their adult and youth Alpha courses. They came to us to support these projects by producing a National PSA commercial as well as all their training videos to equip volunteers leading these new courses.
APPROACH: For the PSA we took an animated approach to tell the Alpha story and give a compelling overview. The visuals bring a strong narrative to life and provide as much clarity as possible while making it accessible and engaging in less than 3 minutes. We also produced a 16 part series of 3-5 minute training videos for volunteer leaders as well as 3 x 30 minute training videos for course hosts and volunteers to give them all the tools needed to run a successful course. The trick was to make these training videos punchy, fun, fast moving, and value heavy. We used lots of digital animation to create interesting visuals and create a unique way of displaying information on screen.
RESULTS: A crystal clear animated National PSA Commercial that provides immediate clarity about Alpha that has been used both digitally and live across North America and the UK to promote Alpha. A strong, engaging suite of training videos that have been used by thousands of Alpha course hosts and volunteers. SERVICES:
